Went there last week and I was disappointed: many new Taiwanese redemption games, nearly all games on first floor are out of order (they are not interesting anyway) and only one new arcade game: Super Hot Skiing.

Mmmm... they are cheaper but often (always?) not as good as their Japanese or American counterparts. They should check American machines, they are cheaps thanks to the current low dollar value. For example, as redemption goes, Big Bass Wheel performs a lot better than Dino Wheel.

I guess it's Eurogame. I never met him but friends of mine bought machines there.

I don't blame operators for choosing the cheapest games. But seeing the number of "out of order" machines at New Laforge, they may not be that reliable (just a guess, US manufactured redemption machines aren't very sturdy either). In fact, I don't care about the redemption market. But video games from China are not that good. However, quality gap is narrowing since Sega started to subcontract Chinese developpers to make some of their games (Sega Golden Gun, Sega Racing Classic, ...). Maybe they'll get better with time...

i don't know, but that dino wheel have the same look of that big bass wheel whit the frof, only this is better of price, and it's the same game, mayby the qualty i don't know

The trick on that particular machine is that the lever on the Dino Wheel is lower than on the Big Bass Wheel so people have to crouch a bit to pull it all the way down. So it's less enjoyable. AFAIR, Dino Wheel is smaller too. We tested both machines on the same funfair and Big Bass performed better. Now if only Dino Wheel is available, maybe it does good. I didn't check the build quality either so I don't know.
