Taiko no Tatsujin: Nijiiro Ver.

A new Taiko no Tatsujin will be presented at JAEPO 2020. The tentative title is March 2020 Ver.

The cabinet will feature a new 120 fps monitor! The reaction speed after hitting is super fast and the gameplay is more accurate.

The new Taiko no Tatsujin game name is Taiko no Tatsujin: Nijiiro Ver. and it will start operation on March 24.

A new crown is added and the songs selection screen is renewed (the titles scrolls vertically).

To celebrate the 100th volume of One Piece, a collaboration is held in Taiko no Tatsujin: Nijiiro Ver..

Players can participate by scanning the barcode on the back cover of the book on Taiko no Tatsujin Banapassport reader.

There are 2 rounds:
1st round: September 3rd - October 19th - Play with Luffy
2nd round: October 20th - November 30th - Play with another character not yet announced.

Unlike what was announced, it is not a 2nd character that is playable in the 2nd phase of the collaboration with One Piece but it is a special game mode that is added: One Piece Battle Performance.

It allows you to fight Kaidou of the Beasts (an antagonist of One Piece). By beating him while playing with a Bana Passport, you can get a Little Charat One Piece, there are 5 to collect. Also, by beating Kaidou 30 times, you can get a special title.

Contrairement à ce qui avait été annoncé, ce n'est pas un 2ème personnage qui est jouable dans la 2ème phase la collaboration avec One Piece mais c'est un mode de jeu spécial qui est ajouté: One Piece Battle Performance.

Thanks for your kind words. It's true that this info is not easily found on the net, especially from non-Japanese sources.

Yes, there is one Taiko no Tatsujin 13 machine operated by "Belgium Musical Games" that you can find at various events.
It was at Comic Con Brussels two weeks ago and at Japan Fair Festival Brussels last weekend.
