Hi I am Roel, I live in Belgium (Turnhout) and am 31 years old. I am new at collecting arcade cabinets, and don't know any other collectors. I am collecting a few months now and so far I have 2 arcade cabinets. Mortal kombat II and Killer Instinct 1 (unfortunately this one had a damaged monitor and probably need to replace it).

My next search will probably be a Killer Instinct 2 cabinet (I am a huge Killer Instinct fan).

I hope I will learn a lot from arcade cabinets while I am here

I also love Killer Instinct. It's an awesome fighting game!!! They should release a new one in arcades!

Which one do you prefer? KI 1 or 2?

Hello Roel ! Welcome here ! Indeed, KI is a great game, I love it too !   

I prefer KI1, but I also like KI2, too bad the announcer in KI2 doesn't announce the combo's like in KI1

I recently bought an Xbox one, just to play the new killer instinct game and since a few days the storymode is unlocked and that's keeping me busy the last few days.  But my alltime favorite is still KI1 from 1994

Yeah, I also miss the many "ULTRA COOMMBOOO" and such from the original. I especially liked the better graphics and breakable objects in KI2 but KI1 holds a special place in me heart... I still hear the attract sequence as it resonated loudly at the local arcade "Available for your home in 1995, only on Nintendo Ultra 64... KILLER INSTINCT" with the amazing graphics. It was never seen before. Such a blast!

Nowadays, I only own a faulty Killer Instinct 2 PCB. I still have to investigate the problem but I currently don't have a *working* JAMMA cab to test (I have to fix it too but have no time) so...
