Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxi Boost

The next game from the Extreme VS. series is subtitled Maxi Boost and will be released in March 2014.

More than 110 units are already announced, some of which will have to be unlocked. Mechas from Full Boost will benefit some attack tweaks and new movement animation.

New stages will also be added and the CPU Battle Mode will be improved.

Regarding the gamaplay, Namco chose to return to original Extreme VS. gameplay: there is only one kind of Extreme Burst (against two in Full Boost) .
A new type of Awakening mode, the EX Overdrive, which triggers when certain conditions are met, will be added. The EX Overdrive is available in 2 modes: F-Drive that uses melee attacks and S-Drive that uses projectiles.

Rumors say it will run on the Sytem 478, a potential new system from Namco.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxi Boost will be on location test at Tokyo Gulliver this week-end and at Round 1 Kanagawa and Namco Osaka Nihonbashi from November 3 to 4.

De nouveaux stages vont aussi être ajoutés et le mode CPU Battle sera amélioré.

Au niveau du gamaplay, Namco a choisi de revenir à celui de l'Extreme VS. original: il n'y a plus qu'un type d'Extreme Burst (contre deux dans Full Boost).
Un nouveau type de mode Awakening, l'EX Overdrive, qui s'enclenche quand certaines conditions sont remplies sera ajouté. L'EX Overdrive existe en 2 modes: le F-Drive qui utilise des attaques rapprochées et S-Drive qui utilise des projectiles.

Des rumeurs prétendent qu'il tournera sur un éventuel nouveau sytème de Namco: le System 478.

Only one new mecha will be added this time:the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock from the 49 episodes animated series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing broadcast between  1995 and 1996. It is piloted by Quatre Raberba Winner.
Equipment: Vulcan Gun, Heat Shotel, Beam Machine Gun, Homing Missile, Shield, Cross Crusher, Diffusing Cloak, Armadillo Armor, Self-Destruct System and Hovercraft Propulsion System.

The Winter Battle Tournament will be held from December 6 to January 31. The players will compete to win emblems and winter decoration for the game interface.

The OZ-00MS2 Tallgeese II (Tallgeese II) is a Mobile Suit piloted by Treize Khushrenada. It is based on the original OZ-00MS Tallgeese and comes from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (a 49 episodes series broadcast between 1995 and 1996).

RMS-108 (MSA-002) Marasai coming from the series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam released in 1985. It's piloted by Jerid Messa among other pilots.

MSN-04II Nightingale coming from the novel Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children published in 1988. It's piloted by Char Aznable.
