Yatagarasu - Attack on Cataclysm is a new version of the
Yatagarasu doujin PC fighting game released in 2011 made by 3 former SNK developers (under the name PDW:Hotapen). This update will add at least 2 new characters to the existing roaster of 8 fighters and many new features. The fighters graphics are in low-res pixel art. The main originality of the game is that matches will be commented in real-time depending on what happens on the screen (this option can be turned off).
Yatagarasu - Attack on Cataclysm will be released on NESiCAxLive towards the end of 2013 with location tests in various arcades. MC Koori will appear and MC several Taito Stations and other arcades. Unfortunately, the arcade version will be released in Japan only.
The PC version is planned for February 2014. The game will be fully localized into English and will contain both English and Japanese language options. It will feature lag-less online play.
The development is founded through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. You can pre-order the game in digital format for $10. For $1000, you can appear in the game as a background NPC. And for $7500, you meet the team at Japan's Comic Market with airfare and 3 nights in a hotel in Tokyo covered.

Yatagarasu - Attack on Cataclysm est une nouvelle version de
Yatagarasu, un jeu de combat doujin sorti sur PC en 2011 et réalisé par 3 anciens développeurs de SNK (sous le nom PDW:Hotapen). Cette nouvelle version ajoutera au moins 2 nouveaux personnages aux 8 existants et contiendra de nombreuses nouveautés. Les personnages sont en pixel-art basse résolution. La principale originalité est que les matches sont commentés en direct selon ce qu'il se passe à l'écran (cette option peut être désactivée).
Yatagarasu - Attack on Cataclysm sortira sur NESiCAxLive vers la fin de l'année, plusieurs location tests seront réalisés au préalable. MC Koori commentera les matches dans plusieurs Taito Stations et d'autres salles d'arcade. Hélas, la version arcade ne sortira qu'au Japon.
La version PC est prévue pour février 2014. Le jeu sera entièrement localisé en anglais avec la possibilité de le mettre en japonais. Il permettra le jeu en ligne sans lag.
Le développement est financé via Indiegogo. Vous pouvez pré-commander le jeu (sous forme de téléchargement) pour 10$. Pour 1000$, vous apparaissez dans le jeu sous forme de NPC dans un décor. Et pour 7500$, vous rencontrez l'équipe au Japan's Comic Market avec le ticket d'avion et les 3 nuits d'hôtel à Tokyo offerts.
