Salut tout le monde, voilà y’à pas mal de documentaires sur les arcades et des films qui évoquent souvent des anciens jeux d’arcade. Je ne sais pas s’il y en à d’autres que ca intéresse, mais je mets ici une liste des documentaires & Films que j’ai vu ! N’hésitez pas à en rajouter :

BBC report shot at ATE 1980 (Alexandra Palace, London). One of the interviewees is Henry Grant, owner of the Sportland arcade in Blankenberge, Belgium (which hosted more than 400 machines at the time). He says that he replaces one quarter of his machines every year and buys mostly video games (as it was the new trend at the time). It's funny to hear him say: "The more complicated that the games are, the more the people like to play them". We hear the total opposite from today's Western operators ("The simpler the game, the better"). I guess that video games were considered "more complicated" than electromechanical games, but people were attracted by their novelty and more advanced appearance.
