Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade

Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade (Taito NESiCAxLive) will be released in 2023!

Taito and Capcom have announced that the have decided to develop the arcade version of Street Fighter 6, the latest work in the Street Fighter series.

Taito will handle the sales of Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade and it will be available via NESiCAxLive.

The domestic version will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Steam on June 2nd, 2023.

The new character Kimberly was announced at EVO 2022 and Street Fighter 6 will combines gameplay evolution and innovation.

The two companies also announced that they will continue to work closely together in the development of arcade games to create new games that will further revitalize the market.

Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade was present on Taito booth at JAEPO 2023.


The game is scheduled to be released this year.

The content of the game is basically the same as the home version but with the appeal of the arcade setup.

In this trial version, you can choose from eight characters: Ryu, Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken.

A function for novice players is implemented to simpifly the controls: 2 extra buttons are assigned to special moves so you can easily unleash Hadouken and Shoryuken just by pressing the lever + special move button. In addition, it also has an assist function that automatically connects to a combo when you hit the opponent with a weak attack or a strong attack while pressing the button on the bottom left.

In addition,it will be possible to bring your own controller to play to the arcade version.

1. Update of game data (CS version: 1.032 compliant)

2. Implementation of "Tournament Support Ticket"
This is a function to reduce the cost when holding a tournament using event mode.

3. Implementation of "Quick Training"
When using a card, by turning on the "Quick Training" function in "MY ROOM Settings", you can start the game without making the following selections in advance:
・"NORMAL/SAFETY" when selecting mode
・Matching preset settings
・Character used
・Operation type
・Button preset

4. Other game bug fixes and stability improvements

A major update is available since April 2nd.

The update will add a new character, ED and a new stage "Ruined Lab" and will also enable players to use outfits from the home version by linking their home ID (FIGHTERS ID), as well as unlocking the Guild Room, which is exclusive to the arcade version.


ED  which first appeared in the previous game "Street Fighter V", is characterized by a fighting style that combines psychic power with quick boxing movements. The new stage Ruined Lab is the ruins of a laboratory in the aftermath of Shadaloo's collapse, and is a stage that is strongly related to ED, as several experimental bodies are placed there.

By linking your FIGHTERS ID to the SF6TA mobile site, you will be able to use the outfits, colors, and titles you own in the home version of the game in SF6TA across platforms. To link with FIGHTERS ID, in addition to registering a NESiCA or Amusement IC Card compatible IC card, you will also need to register MY ROOM on the SF6TA mobile site.

The Guild Room where SF6TA players can gather together to form a group will be opened in the MY ROOM section of the SF6TA mobile site. Guild members can earn Guild Points (GP) by winning or drawing in PvP matches, and all guild members can earn special rewards according to their total GP or cumulative GP over a period of time. GP will not decrease even if you lose in a PvP match. Win: +2GP, Draw: +1GP.
